Customer Review:Works Great!I really love this product. Cleans great, it is easy and so quiet! The only suggestion that would make it better is if it was cordless. Then it would be perfect! Mine came with 3 extra pads so I think Bissell was listening to the feedback. Also, the pads have an adjustment to help make it easier to get on. I still don't dry them based on other feedbacks. Before this I had the floor mate which worked fine but it was a pain with the cleaning solution and the dirty water to empty. This product is worth buying. Performs as advertisesThis is a handy gadget that makes cleaning tile a breeze. I have other heavier steam vapor equipment but needed this little machine for the quick clean up jobs. It is perfect for that. Not only that, the unit I received even had a bonus of two extra cleaning pads (a total of four). This was a pleasant surprise. It is great to be able to do the work quickly and without chemicals. And Kudos to Amazon for great service, too! Non Toxic - sort ofAfter reading some of the other reviews I realize to get the really clean I am going to have to move a LOT slower when I use this. On my second use, I intend to do just that.
I did not have any problems moving the mop "back and forth" as some other reviewers did. Once the steam is going strong and the pad is wet it moved back and forth pretty good (although the pulling motion was smoother).
Pros:
No chemicals on my floor, in the air, etc.
Relatively easy to assemble (once I found the screws. Note: they are connected to the upper piece with a red piece of tape. I sat for 5 minutes staring at the mounting screws and trying to figure out which was the small and which was the large (they were the same!!). Finally I realized there was another package of screws).
Steam starts quickly and you are up in running in seconds. No messy dirty water, dripping mop, etc.
I used one pad to clean my utility room, 2 bathrooms and a tile kitchen.
Cons:
Big bold letters on the instructions tell you that the cord contains lead! "Wash hands immediately after use - birth defects, reproductive harm!" WHAT??? I buy something so I can have a chemical free home and I get lead instead? This pregnant mother with 2 small children is less than amused.
This would probably be FANTASTIC for someone without kids. It quickly and easily cleaned your 'run of the mill' dirt and spots up. It did get the dried on cheese off the floor. But it took MANY passes over it to get it to come up. I probably spent five minutes on that spot.
I had visions of it lifting the dirt and grime from the grout and that just didn't happen. It cleaned as well as, but probably no better than, my old fashioned string mop (which does do a better job than a sponge mop or the Clorox mop on tile/grout).
My pad has little holes (wear holes) after just the first use! Not sure how much longer it is going to last and at approximately $6 per pad that could be expensive (more expensive than cleaner would be).
I haven't tried reattaching the mop pad yet. But I will take the advice of some other reviewers and get it wet first.
Overall, I prefered this to pushing around a dirty mop and dirty water. It's a bit pricy. I got the Amazon credit card and used the $30 discount to justify this one. Keywords: Vacuums;

Calphalon Commercial Hard-Anodized 8-1/2-Quart Saucier with LidYou just might find yourself using this versatile piece of cookware more than any other in your kitchen. Reducing sauces, braising meats, boiling pasta, browning chicken: this pot can do it all, on the stovetop or in the oven. This saucier has straight sides and a wide profile, and two sturdy double-riveted handles make it safer and easier to lift when full. (Don't forget that the cast stainless-steel handles remain cool on the stove, but heat right up in the oven.) Like all of the products in Calphalon's commercial hard-anodized series, it distributes heat efficiently, so foods brown quickly and cook uniformly. In fact, try cooking over a lower setting than you customarily use; Calphalon cookware conducts heat so well that it's easy to overdo the first few times around. Unlike cookware coated with a synthetic nonstick finish, the hard-anodized surface won't chip, crack, or peel if you use a metal spatula, and it doesn't react with acidic foods such as citrus or tomato. All of Calphalon's commercial hard-anodized cookware comes with a lifetime warranty, and if treated with care, it'll last as long as you do. Always wash this cookware by hand with mild cleansers, and don't place a hot pan in cold water--it could warp. --Mary Park

Customer Review:great valueThis is a very large pan diameter-wise. Cooks evenly and works well on ceramic cooktop. It cleans easily but is really not "non-stick". A terrific value for the money. All pros...no cons. If you have room to store it, get itThis is a great pot, if you have the room. It's very big and takes up 2 burners on the stove..however, you can cook an entire package of lasagna noodles, nothing sticks or boils over, you can make enough spagetti for 6 teenagers, it's great for a 1 pot meal for up to 12 people. The heat distribution is even, it cleans up easily and is nice enough to put on the table. You can't really beat the Amazon price either. LOVE IT !!!I love it. I wasn't sure when I first ordered it but now that I have it I hate to use anything else. I am putting in more orders soon. Customer Review:Worked the Very First Time!I had been wanting to purchase the Donvier yogurt maker since reading "French Women Don't Get Fat", but I wasn't sure that I wanted to get another appliance. I finally took the plunge, and I'm very glad I did - so is my husband.
I heated up a quart of organic 2% milk until I saw bubbles form at the edge of the pan. I poured the milk into a bowl that has a handle and a pouring spout. At this point, I added some nonfat milk powder, so that the yogurt would be firmer (a trick I learned when I used to make my own in a big jar). Stuck in the thermometer, and added a heaping tablespoon of plain Dannon yogurt when the red mark reached the "add starter" window. Then I poured it into the individual cups, and set the machine for 12 hours. The yogurt was perfect - nice and firm. There was just a bit of liquid on the top, and I just poured that off.
One thing that I would do differently is to use 1 and 1/2 quarts of milk, instead of 1 quart. A full six cups of milk would give you 8 servings of 6 ounces each, enough to fill all of the containers.
I really like the individual containers, as I usually take yogurt to work with me for breakfast. I can just pop one into my bag. It also cuts down on the amount of whey that seeps out when you take an individual serving out of a big container of yogurt, which then tends to dry out the yogurt.
I think I will end up saving quite a bit of money with this machine. I also like the fact that I can control exactly what goes into my yogurt. Yogurt maker disappointingI bought a Donvier brand yogurt maker because of good internet reviews, and because of the recommendation in the book French Women Don't Get Fat. I have to admit that I am pretty disappointed with this choice, although I don't know if the results from a different brand would be any more satisfactory. It is relatively simple to use (although a one-container, quart-sized one like Salton would probably be easier), but the quality of yogurt obtained is not what I'd hoped for. The first few batches did not turn out well at all. I initially used a thick Greek-style yogurt (Fage) as a starter, hoping to produce a thick and creamy yogurt. However, the resulting yogurt - if you can even call it that - was thin and runny. I left the appliance on a little longer (11 hours) so that it could get thicker, but the condition worsened, with it ending up like sour milk - curds on the bottom, and clear whey on top. I threw it out. To the second batch I added some instant dry milk powder, and the result was a little better, but not much - it was still very runny, but at least not separated. For the third batch I used a different yogurt as a starter - Stonyfield organic - and also added dry milk powder. The result was still thin, barely the consistency of kefir. The most recent batch was the most successful, but seemed to negate the main reasons for buying a yogurt maker in the first place. I used whole milk, added instant dry milk, and used a commercial freeze-dried yogurt culture. The yogurt thickened up in only 5 hours, but was definitely not at all as thick as a commercially made yogurt, such as Dannon. It's possible that it would thicken more with more time, but could turn out very sour, and could also separate, like the first batch. I would prefer to use 2% milk, rather than whole, and the use of dry milk and a commercial starter add considerably to the cost. For the money, and with the work and time involved, I could just as well have stuck with the store bought stuff. The only advantage I see with this method is fewer plastic containers added to the waste stream. Great yogurt maker - but not for big householdsI just started using this yogurt maker and I am impressed at how easy it is to use. My husband and I consume a lot of yogurt, but I started getting concerned about the preservatives and excess sugar in most commercial brands. This has been a great alternative. We also like that we are not buying and throwing away lots of yogurt cups each week.
The only reason that I gave it 4 and not 5 stars is because each cup holds less than a serving of most commercial yogurts. This works fine for me, but not for my husband who is tall, skinny, and trying to put on some weight. Also, as our family grows, we will probably need to switch to a yogurt maker with a larger capacity.

Hamilton Beach 04923 TrueAir Replacement Carbon Filters for 04162 & 04163 Air Cleaners, 3-Pack
FuturesCustomized for fast and easy replacement;Compatible with Hamilton Beach 04162 and 04163 model air purifiers;Works in tandem with HEPA filters and UV germicidal lights;Absorbs unpleasant odors in a room;Covers up to 350 square feet;
Customer Review:Surprising benefit - quieter!Ordinarily I would not be particularly excited about odor-removing filters. However, I was surprised after installing my first replacement set of odor filters that my purifier (model 04163) ran much quieter at the lowest speed setting. I'm not entirely sure of the added electrical cost of running these filters (I have pet birds that generate a lot of dust and dander and the filters run 24/7), but it may be that the reduced fan speed to get the same air discharge will save me money. Nice! ExpensiveQuiet enough but not particularly affordable. Wish for a generic. Keywords: Filters; Accessories;
